Lantara Builders was founded as a second generation family business, and it is this spirit that prevails along the entire building process. We have been building custom homes and light commercial projects since 1994.
Lance Lackey
Owner
Lance meets with a potential client as early in the process as possible. He can help find or select the correct lot to build your new home on. Lantara Builders has building plans that are customizable or our draftsmen are available to modify or custom draw a plan. At Lantara Builders we specialize in turn-key construction of a home or business. This includes site work, clearing the selected lot, septic and sewer, well or water system, driveways, and every aspect of the building process down to the last detail. Lance works with you, the client, as well as personally supervising the entire construction project. He believes in an open line of communication with the client. At Lantara Builders, we want you to understand the home building process before you buy.
Lantara Builders has built homes and commercial buildings in New Braunfels, Wimberely, Seguin, Canyon Lake, Schertz, Garden Ridge, Universal City, San Antonio, and the Hill Country area within 30 miles of New Braunfels. Lantara Builders is dedicated to building quality crafted, distinctive homes across the Hill Counrty area. We have developed a reputation for high quality homes with features and amenities other builders often consider options or upgrades.

Steve Lange
President of Lantara Builders
Steve Lange has over 25 Years expericence designing and building new homes in the Greater New Braunfels area. Since 1984, he has helped over 800 families achieve the American dream of home ownership. His former company, S&D Builders was well known in the community for its integrity and reputation for building quality homes at an affordable price. He brings that same philosophy to Lantara Builders. Steve specializes in listening to the customer’s ideas for their new home and then incorporates the ideas in a plan especially for them. As a co-owner of Lantara Builders, Steve is dedicated to customer service. Steve is married to Joann and has 4 sons.
